2007
Farrell delivers Impact RAP technology in Sacramento and San Francisco. Farrell wins Highway 880/92 interchange project with Geopier RAPs. Farrell delivers Augercast pile project in Redwood City. Brian Armstrong joins Farrell as Construction Manager.  
2006
Farrell installs Geopier RAPs on largest project in California for BART at the 8 story Pleasant Hill BART station.  
2005
Farrell adds RIC-Rapid Impact Compaction to its services. Craig Shields, MS, GE joins Farrell as Principal Engineer and heads up Farrell's Oakland office.  
2005
Farrell breaks out at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with the new Engineering IV building supported on Geopier Rammed Aggregate Piers. Banner year for parking garage construction.  
2004
Overall construction volume hits all time high for Farrell with the completion of third Geopier project at University of California, Davis. Farrell completes most Geopier projects in a year - totaling 14.  
2003
Farrell completes over $4 million in Geopier projects since 1999  
2002
Aaron A. Taylor, MS, CE, SE joins Farrell as project manager

Farrell delivers helical mini-pile seismic retrofit in Sacramento

Farrell meets with CALTRANS District 4 engineers for the Highway 880/92 interchange project in Hayward.

Jeff Farrell is promoted to superintendent.

William M. Kenney, PE joins Farrell as project manager  
2000
Farrell delivers Geopier on high profile 6 and 8-story Bay Area projects, Sybase towers in Dublin and PMI tower in Walnut Creek.  
1999
Farrell Design-Build Companies Inc. is born out of F&S Construction. Tom and Michael join to deliver foundation and retrofit design-build services in Northern California. With 4 employees (Michael, Tom, Jeff, and DJ), Farrell Design-Build starts its first project as dba. Geopier Foundation Company - Northern CA in August 1999 with DPR Construction Inc.  
1999
F&S Construction successfully completes the installation of Geopier for the 6-story Block 224 parking garage in Sacramento, CA and the 10-story Orchard Hotel in San Francisco, CA.  
1997
F&S Construction is the most experienced Geopier installer in CA.  
1996
Michael and F&S Construction builds its first Geopier project and the second only in California - Ebara Technologies Inc. in Sacramento, CA. Tom graduates with a Master of Science from UC Davis in Geotechnical Engineering and continues at Anderson..  
1995
Tom oversees design of first Geopier job in California for the South Napa Market Place project in Napa, CA. Dr. Fox's construction crews came to CA to build the project.  
1994
Tom is introduced to Geopier technology with Dr. Nat Fox by way of ASCE Civil Engineering Magazine and visit from Dr. Fox.  
1990
Michael and F&S Construction going strong in El Dorado and Sacramento Counties and Tom graduates from Cal Poly with honors and begins work with Anderson Consulting Group (now ENGEO Inc. since 2002).  
1985
Michael evolves Farrell & Sons into F&S Construction and begins contracting turn-key commercial buildings, residential custom homes, and multi-family apartments. Tom begins attendance at California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, CA and begins work as a geotech field/lab technician with Earth Systems Inc. in SLO.  

1978

Michael Farrell creates Farrell & Sons Electric in El Dorado County, California after working in Anchorage, AK during pipeline boom. Tom does what dad says, like all good sons.
