Farrell Design-Build Companies Inc. is born out of F&S Construction. Tom and Michael join to deliver foundation and retrofit design-build services in Northern California. With 4 employees (Michael, Tom, Jeff, and DJ), Farrell Design-Build starts its first project as dba. Geopier Foundation Company - Northern CA in August 1999 with DPR Construction Inc. | |

F&S Construction successfully completes the installation of Geopier for the 6-story Block 224 parking garage in Sacramento, CA and the 10-story Orchard Hotel in San Francisco, CA. | |

Michael evolves Farrell & Sons into F&S Construction and begins contracting turn-key commercial buildings, residential custom homes, and multi-family apartments. Tom begins attendance at California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, CA and begins work as a geotech field/lab technician with Earth Systems Inc. in SLO. | |
