With 4 employees (Michael, Tom, Jeff, and DJ), Farrell Design-Build starts its first project as dba. Geopier Foundation Company - Northern CA in August 1999 with DPR Construction Inc. | |

Michael evolves Farrell & Sons into F&S Construction and begins contracting turn-key commercial buildings, residential custom homes, and multi-family apartments. Tom begins attendance at California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, CA and begins work as a geotech field/lab technician with Earth Systems Inc. in SLO. | |
