Geopier Foundation Company was honored with the 1995 California Geotechnical Engineers Association Project of the Year Award. The award is considered for innovative projects that bring new technology and geotechnical solutions to California. In fact, the South Napa Marketplace was a Geopier first in California.

ENGEO Inc. (formerly Anderson Consulting Group) of Roseville, California co-designed the Geopier foundation for the South Napa Marketplace and received this award for geotechnical and foundation innovation.
