Impact® Pier
The Impact® Pier system is an advancement of vibro replacement stone columns and an improvement on the proven and successful Geopier® soil reinforcement method. With over ten years of proven performance in California, Farrell Design-Build is committed to providing its customers cost savings using the Impact® Pier system, a full displacement Rammed Aggregate Pier® construction method where appropriate. Impact® Pier Description: The Impact® Pier system uses vertically forced displacement technology to densify and reinforce loose and weak soil below groundwater, including loose sand, silt, clay, mixed soil layers, and uncontrolled fill. With construction that utilizes vertical vibratory impact ramming, the Impact pier exhibits higher strength and stiffness than traditional vibrated stone columns.
